A global engineered services provider of complex subsea technology projects sought to establish “the right organization with the right processes, enabled by the right systems, at the right cost to deliver efficiencies, speed, and sustainable Quote to Cash value.”

Actions:

Defined four-phase approach to improving all aspects of QtC:

  • Conduct workshops and understand pain points
  • Define changes in work practices to address challenges and inefficiencies; measure and assess results
  • Improve process control through standard work rollout
  • Automate and integrate back-end systems, including contracts-to-collections platform
  • Decrease DSO variability; increase DSO sustainability
  • Automate and integrate the front end for consistent data throughout, ability to track and measure bid vs. PM plan vs. actual, and set controls
